October has been a very busy month in terms of contract cleaning; this month saw us start the Southco office cleaning contact in Worcester. After meeting with the client at the beginning of this month it is clear that they are very happy with the way the cleaning is being carried out.

We are very happy with the way the contract has gone in the first month; the premises are looking much cleaner than they have been previously. The regular site visit from the managers really helps in maintaining the standards across this 24 hour site, and with an on site supervisor this really ensures that the staff are following everything they need to be on a daily basis.

The Contract Cleaning branch of Starlight Cleaning has gained an Office Cleaning  contract this week in Kidderminster. We were called by the steel fabricating company early in the week, with an enquiry to our office cleaning services.

Originally the office was cleaned by ‘in house’ cleaners, but as the company has recently moved their offices to a larger building for this reason it was felt a professional cleaning company was required.

The company had a basic office cleaning plan with the addition of a couple of extra tasks which are needed to control some of the mess that the manufacturing process produces.

Starlight cleaning has recently secured the office cleaning contract for Southco Worcester.

After meeting with the client and discussing their requirements it became clear that the customer had no time to worry about the cleanliness of the building. They required a company that would take complete control of the cleaning and be completely self sufficient allowing all their staff to work in a clean environment.

With supervisors visiting sites at least once a week our cleaning plan suited Southco’s needs perfectly.

We are due to start on site early October 2010.

August has not only been a busy month for the Industrial Cleaning side of the company, it has been exceptionally busy for the contract cleaning division with new customers coming to us and existing customers expanding and moving there is more than ever to do.

With all the building work, and changes that are taking place at Spirax Sarco in Cheltenham, our staff have really gone the extra mile to keep our high standards of cleaning consistent. The new building work at site A is now completed, and our new Office Cleaning Contract will begin early in September once all the staff are moved in.

We have just completed some quite extensive works for Spirax Sarco, as previously posted the company are moving their offices to some temporary cabins whilst works are completed.

As well as the cabins some staff have been moved to additional temporary offices. We were given the task of cleaning these offices so as they are ready for use. The offices themselves have stood dormant for almost 2 years. So as you can imagine dust was everywhere and the windows where filthy. Some of the kitchen and canteen areas looked like they had been “abandoned” by the previous occupants.

Spirax Sarco in Cheltenham are undergoing building work, as they extend their sites. During this time some of their offices will be moved and some even completely rebuilt. The majority of their office staff will have to work from temporary offices in this time whilst the work is completed.

This meant that a new contract was required for the Daily Cleaning Services Of these offices.
