We recently carried out a kitchen deep clean at a nightclub in Birmingham, this was carried out as part of our industrial cleaning services.

We have started doing more and more work for nightclubs as the word spreads of a good job done. Night clubs tend to provide a unique challenge, with large area that tend to get a heavy throughput of people. The kitchens are no different, with this particular nightclub also serving as a restaurant and bar during the day.

We carried out this clean in an afternoon and left the owners very happy, they have assured us we will be the first people to know when they have any further cleaning requirements.

Last week we carried out a Kitchen Deep Clean at the Cross Guns Pub and restaurant in Codswall Wood, Wolverhampton. The Pub has been closed for several months and will re-open on the 22nd of September.

The kitchen had been left by the previous owners in a state that could at the very best be described as filthy. All in all it took our cleaning team 17 hours to bring the kitchen up to our high standard of clean.

This Monday we performed a kitchen deep clean at a school in Stratford-Upon-Avon, this is the third time we have deep cleaned the kitchens at the school.

Previous companies who have deep cleaned the  kitchens have normally only perform one clean then drastically increased the price, or not completed the clean to a sufficient standard dn have therefore not been asked back.

We ensure that every clean we do is completed to a high standard and is priced fairly, this is why we are asked back time and time again.

Today we were called in to deep clean and sanitise 3 containers full of used catering equipment.This was a simple task as we are used to cleaning ovens whilst doing Kitchen Deep Cleans at schools etc.

Some of the equipment that we were required to clean included.

• Ovens  -  Required Steam Cleaning and sanitising to remove burned on deposits and grease.
• Fryers  – Required Steam cleaning and Draining, these where a bit more stubborn than the ovens due to oil being around them constantly.
• Dish Washers -  Required Sanitising, filters removing and cleaning. Also required De-scaling.
• Food Warmers -  These large counters where fairly straight forward to clean with only the water baths needing steam cleaning and De-scaling.

Once completed the transformation was amazing, 3 containers of brown tinted filthy used equipment, too three containers of stainless sparkling equipment.

This week we performed the annual Kitchen Deep Clean on a school kitchen in Worcester. The kitchen had been cleaned fairly well on a daily basis, so on the whole the kitchen was fairly clean with the only really difficult areas being the ovens and deep fryers.

Our first task when we started was to clean all the windows and the ceiling of the main kitchen area.

We did this before pulling all the appliances away from the walls, and thoroughly cleaning all pipes and the rears of the kitchen units, including cleaning pipework and cables.

Once all the walls and the rears of the appliances and cabinets where clean it was time to start cleaning inside the appliances. The ovens, fryers, and storage units taking the most time as grease builds up here.  All the appliances where steam cleaned and thoroughly degreased.

As a long weekend was available Starlight Cleaning have been called into a  school in Birmingham to perform a Kitchen Deep Clean. The school were adamant that we performed the clean over the bank holiday weekend as the contractors who previously performed the clean for them used to require 3 days.

With our experience we thought this was a bit overkill as even though the kitchens were large there was nothing complicated about them. We thought 1 day should be more than enough to perform the clean, but stuck to performing it on the bank holiday weekend for the schools peace of mind.

We  proved that three days were not required when we completed the whole clean in 1 day as planned. The caretaker of the school informed us that the clean was far superior in quality than had previously been carried out also.

All in all the clean was very simple, with the only difficult tasks being the windows, which where given a thorough clean. The school is now strongly considering using us for our Daily Cleaning Services, as well as our one off Industrial Cleaning Services like the Kitchen Deep Clean performed on Saturday.

The high level clean is complete and was finished in plenty of time before the arrival of the world record breaking Steam Car. In total the high level clean of the whole main warehouse took 5 evenings and was completed entirely out of working hours of the factory. The difference made was huge, breeze block walls that previously had black mortar lines where restored to the magnolia painted colour they should be, and all pipes and beams within the ceiling where returned to like new cleanliness.
