With Worcestershire receiving some of the worst snow and ice that the area has had in a long time this December, the weather certainly presented some challenges.

We are glad to report however that even with the adverse weather conditions we still managed to get 99% of our staff on site as scheduled every day. With only two occasions where staff could not make it to site, this however was not a problem as the sites that they were due to perform office cleans at had not opened due to the snow preventing staff from getting in.

We still ensured the time was made up once the snow had cleared to ensure the clients were not out of pocket and that the cleaning standards did not fall.

We have found that it is especially important to ensure that cleaning is kept up with especially when there is snow and ice as grit used to clear snow gets trodden in and can ruin carpets and damage floors.

We have just gained an office cleaning contract at the small insurance firm in Droitwich.

the firm has only recently moved in so once our cleaners start on site next week they will have minimal catching up to do.

We will have two staff on site 3 times a day taking care of cleaning all the office space as well as the staff toilets and canteen.

This month we have started a new contract, cleaning a care home in Cheltenham. The contract at Dowty House is for two cleaners to take care of cleaning rooms and living areas during weekends. The care home has its own in house cleaners that take care of the cleaning on week days with our cleaners taking care of cleaning at the weekends.

This week we have been to visit a new client who recently made contact with us through our website.

The client runs an internet marketing firm with a small office of around 20 staff. We were contacted after their previous office cleaners started to let them down. Staff were turning up late or not at all to complete their duties and this was starting to show as the office slowly became untidy.

We provided the customer with a quotation which it turned out was cheaper than what they were paying before by quite a margin! We will be putting cleaners into the office within the next two weeks!

Starlight Cleaning has been awarded the daily office cleaning contract at Prime Public Partnerships Limited in Worcester.

After meeting with Prime Worcester and discussing their requirements, we were able to specify a Cleaning contract that suited Primes needs.

We have taken the time to choose the right members of staff to perform the clean and are confident that Prime will appreciate our efforts and enjoy a clean and tidy workplace.

Spirax Sarco in Cheltenham are undergoing building work, as they extend their sites. During this time some of their offices will be moved and some even completely rebuilt. The majority of their office staff will have to work from temporary offices in this time whilst the work is completed.

This meant that a new contract was required for the Daily Cleaning Services Of these offices.
