Starlight Cleaning

Last Saturday we completed a Builders Clean at a school in Worcester.

The school had new flooring fitted along with new windows and frames in a lot of the classrooms during the summer holidays.

The work, especially the new flooring had resulted in a fine layer of dust being distributed throughout the school. Starlight Cleaning was called in to give every room a dust down and ensure that the classrooms and corridors are all ready for when the school returns to operation early in September.

We now carry out Builders Cleaning Services for a well known High Street store, through T.A. Knox Who has been more than happy with the quality of our work and our commitment to providing an exceptional clean.

The Store is based in Dartford, Kent. Within the clean, all floors had to be wet cleaned, dried and sealed. Leaving a strong durable finish.

All lighting and ceiling frames were thoroughly dusted and wiped down to ensure that the there is no dust waiting to fall down onto the stock. We ensured all rear stock areas were clean, along with counters and customer service areas.

This clean was carried out through the night once all building work was completed. Leaving the store ready for stock to be moved in the following day.

As recently posted we have launched a new service aimed at historic buildings that need a delicate touch. We were called into the Southampton Merchants Hall, this building definately needed a delicate touch!

With areas that we were not even allowed to photograph for fear of the light from the camera damaging delicate parts of the building, this was a real test.

We performed the clean over 2 days and had to use specialist techniques to ensure that no surface was left with any deposits or with any chemical residue that could cause damage.

The end results were very impressive, and we wish that we could have taken photographs to show you!

Our cleaners this week have had a very busy week, with one team working through the High Level Clean in Cheltenham, our second team carrying out a School Deep Clean in Kidderminster, our third team had a busy day performing a Builders Clean in Tewkesbury.

Today we had to perform a Sparkle Clean at a Coffee Shop in Chester. We do quiet a few of these throughout the year, but this one was a little different. The store was due for handover at 8pm, giving us only 2 hours to complete the clean!

We love a challenge and completed the clean with 15 minutes to spare, the contractor in charge of the project was most impressed with our effort and said that he would pass word on of a good job done.

On Friday we performed a Builders Clean at the Stafford Art Centre in Staffordshire.

The building had had some small building works carried out which had involved walls being knocked down and removed, and new floors being fitted.

When any work is carried out like this there is always dust and mess. We performed the clean within a day and even removed and renovated some areas that were dirty from general use before the building work.

This week we had our first builders clean to perform for a new customer. T A Knox specialise in shop fitting, and carry out work for many well known high street stores.

We carried out a full builders clean on this particular site in Leicester

The builders clean service is what takes a building from a completed building project to an inhabitable and usable space.

We ensured that all windows and glass were cleaned, the whole store was Vacuumed and all dust debris removed, then the counter areas were thoroughly checked to ensure that nothing was missed.

This week we performed a builders clean and sparkle clean on a brand new operating theatre that has recently been built within Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

This Builders clean and Sparkle clean was carried out for ModuleCo who we have performed a lot of work for in the past. We were recently responsible for cleaning a brand new 132 room hospital wing for them in Lincoln County Hospital.

The Sparkle clean aspect of this clean meant that all surfaces needed just that extra bit of attention. This involved disinfecting and making sure that all surfaces are sterile and ready for use.

Today we completed a small Builders Clean on a High Street Store in Birmingham.

The shop had been finished to a high standard, with a glass frontage and wooden counters.

We worked from the rear of the shop forward.

Firstly taking care of the staff toilets ensuring they where clean after the builders had used them, this required a Washroom Deep Clean.

It has been a busy week for us with more than one site running in Wales. Having completed the builders clean in Monmouth at the Shire Hall. We headed over to the Mumbles to clean a newly Built Coffee Shop.

The Coffee shop required a builders clean.

When we perform these cleans it is essential that the site is left spotless. We spend time ensuring that every shelf and every cupboard is thoroughly cleaned.
