When any building needs a thorough clean it can be quiet a task to find someone capable of doing it to an acceptable standard. This task is only made harder when the building has delicate plaster work and cornice, high ceilings, wooden beams, and many other surfaces that could so easily be damaged.

Our new specialist cleaning service takes all this into consideration to provide a tailor made clean that will tick all the boxes.

With so many surfaces within a listed building being delicate and often irreplaceable it is vital to take a delicate approach. Before the clean begins we will send one of our experienced site surveyors to survey the building or buildings to be cleaned. They will then provide a complete and customised Method Statement and Risk Assessment. The client will be kept involved in every stage of the clean to ensure that all work is to be carried out to requirements.

Some of the Specific areas that we offer solutions:

Windows - Our specialist window cleaning team have specially developed methods for cleaning windows on older buildings, which tend to have many many small fragile pains of glass, and lots of delicate lead work.

Wooden Floors & Stone Floors -  We have tailored cleaning methods for gentle cleaning, and if needed sealing of wooden floors and other hard surfaces, all whilst ensuring that the original finish is maintained and protected.

Beams -  With our staff IPAF trained we can use cherry pickers and scissor lifts to get to hard to reach areas such as beams and decorations. We can then gently and thoroughly clean them to a standard otherwise unachievable.

All staff on site are direct employees of Starlight Cleaning and all carry a CSCS card. We also have a £10m liability insurance policy for your peace of mind.We are available 24 hours a day, so can work during closing hours to avoid any disruption to business operation.
