Last week we carried out a Kitchen Deep Clean at the Cross Guns Pub and restaurant in Codswall Wood, Wolverhampton. The Pub has been closed for several months and will re-open on the 22nd of September.
The kitchen had been left by the previous owners in a state that could at the very best be described as filthy. All in all it took our cleaning team 17 hours to bring the kitchen up to our high standard of clean.
The Contract Cleaning branch of Starlight Cleaning has gained an Office Cleaning contract this week in Kidderminster. We were called by the steel fabricating company early in the week, with an enquiry to our office cleaning services.
Originally the office was cleaned by ‘in house’ cleaners, but as the company has recently moved their offices to a larger building for this reason it was felt a professional cleaning company was required.

This week we have been to visit a new client who recently made contact with us through our website.
The client runs an internet marketing firm with a small office of around 20 staff. We were contacted after their previous office cleaners started to let them down. Staff were turning up late or not at all to complete their duties and this was starting to show as the office slowly became untidy.

Starlight cleaning has recently secured the office cleaning contract for Southco Worcester.
After meeting with the client and discussing their requirements it became clear that the customer had no time to worry about the cleanliness of the building. They required a company that would take complete control of the cleaning and be completely self sufficient allowing all their staff to work in a clean environment.
With supervisors visiting sites at least once a week our cleaning plan suited Southco’s needs perfectly.
We are due to start on site early October 2010.

August has not only been a busy month for the Industrial Cleaning side of the company, it has been exceptionally busy for the contract cleaning division with new customers coming to us and existing customers expanding and moving there is more than ever to do.
Spirax Sarco - Cheltenham
With all the building work, and changes that are taking place at Spirax Sarco in Cheltenham, our staff have really gone the extra mile to keep our high standards of cleaning consistent. The new building work at site A is now completed, and our new Office Cleaning Contract will begin early in September once all the staff are moved in.
Last Saturday we completed a Builders Clean at a school in Worcester.
The school had new flooring fitted along with new windows and frames in a lot of the classrooms during the summer holidays.
The new flooring had resulted in a fine layer of dust being distributed throughout the school. Starlight Cleaning was called in to give every room a dust down and ensure that the classrooms and corridors are all ready for when the school returns to operation early in September.
It seems this summer is packed with school deep cleans, and kitchen deep cleans. With the schools all being closed to students for the summer, it is the perfect time for them to have essential cleaning work carried out. We were called into the school to perform a clean on its kitchens that serve 400+ students.
When performing a kitchen deep clean we always ensure that all machines such as fryers, dishwashers, and ovens are free of grease and gleaming clean. All the storage units and equipment was pulled away from the wall and cleaned behind, the top of the ducts were wiped down and cleaned, ensuring that no surface was left untouched.
The School caretaker was more than impressed with the quality of the clean and has promised us that we will be first to hear next time they need anything cleaning.

We now carry out Builders Cleaning Services for a well known High Street store, through T.A. Knox Who has been more than happy with the quality of our work and our commitment to providing an exceptional clean.
The Store is based in Dartford, Kent. Within the clean, all floors had to be wet cleaned, dried and sealed. Leaving a strong durable finish.
All lighting and ceiling frames were thoroughly dusted and wiped down to ensure that the there is no dust waiting to fall down onto the stock. We ensured all rear stock areas were clean, along with counters and customer service areas.
This clean was carried out through the night once all building work was completed. Leaving the store ready for stock to be moved in the following day.
