The high level clean is complete and was finished in plenty of time before the arrival of the world record breaking Steam Car. In total the high level clean of the whole main warehouse took 5 evenings and was completed entirely out of working hours of the factory. The difference made was huge, breeze block walls that previously had black mortar lines where restored to the magnolia painted colour they should be, and all pipes and beams within the ceiling where returned to like new cleanliness.

As the Staff kitchen was going to be used to serve refreshments to the press and others when the steam car was displayed we also gave the kitchen a thorough clean, involving wiping down all the walls, cleaning all pipework on the ceiling and walls, and the thorough cleaning of the floor and cabinets. The floor was scrubbed and mopped and left ready for the following day.
